Dr. Yalcin Yavas, Ph.D., HCLD, ELD, Laboratory Director. Dr. Yavas is certified as High-complexity Clinical Laboratory Director (HCLD) and Embryology Laboratory Director (ELD) by the American Board of Bioanalysis (ABB). He is also licensed as Clinical Laboratory Director by the State of Florida both in embryology and andrology. Dr. Yavas received his Master of Science (M.S.) degree from Washington State University, Pullman, Washington, and his doctorate (Ph.D.) degree from University of Guelph, Ontario, Canada, both in reproductive biology. Upon completion of his Ph.D. degree, he acquired several years of extensive experience in all aspects of Assisted Reproductive Technologies (A.R.T.), including micromanipulation. Dr. Yavas has particular expertise in intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI), and has published many articles in scientific journals. Dr. Yavas is a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM), the American Association of Bioanalysts (AAB), the College of Reproductive Biology, and the Canadian Fertility and Andrology Society (CFAS).
